Content
The content is different for each wedding ceremony ... we design and typeset each booklet from scratch.
We advise couples to agree the text in consultation with their celebrant, or to have the text approved by the celebrant, prior to submitting it to us.
At your wedding ceremony you want your family and friends to participate in, and experience, the event rather than spend their time reading. Our advice is to "keep it simple" ... include the sections which are personal to you ... your chosen readings; your marriage vows; etc. and name other parts without including all the text.
We will, of course, include everything you wish in your booklet as it is your booklet and your choice.
How to submit your text
You may submit your text as a Word document either as an email attachment or on disc
If this is not possible we will accept hard copy [a typing service fee applies].
Typing Service
We offer a typing service for you if you wish to submit your text in hard copy ... a charge of € 30 applies to this secretarial service.
Size / Number of pages
Standard sizes ... Size A5 ... an A4 page folded in half
Size A6 ... an A5 page folded in half
Tea-length ... A4 folded in half on the long end
Custom sizes ... we can also size the booklets to suit you
Number of Pages ... our prices are for 12 pages for Size A5 or Tea-length and 16 pages for size A6
Font style / Font colour
We advise using a simple font style for the main body of text and keep the fancy font style for the headings.
We find the best colour for the booklet text is 'almost black' ... it is slightly softer than black.
Headings may be in your stationery text colour.
The font styles and colours will be agreed with you and we will carry out your wishes.
Typesetting text
We will typeset your text and will forward it to you as a pdf document at which time you proof-read it.
We will amend the text in line with your instructions.

Timeline
We ask that all text be submitted to us approximately six weeks prior to the wedding.
